Ještěd - Dominant in the city of Liberec, is the highest point in this area, and is called Ještěd. It lies 1025 meters above the sea level. This beautiful place offers a unique view over the city of Liberec and his surroundings. The whole year, you can reach this top of the mountain by lift. In the winter time, Ještěd is a very popular ski area (only 15Km away from the Hotel Orion). On the top of the mountain you'll find not only a beautiful view, but also a restaurant where you can relax, have dinner or just have a cup of coffee.

Liberec - The city Liberec is a beautiful city. Dominant in the city center is the city hall which is a replica from the city hall in Vienna. It has a beautiful center with many nice old buildings. That makes a nice walk or shopping twice as more interesting.

The Zoo - The Zoo is also an important attraction. This Zoo in a beautiful park style is very proud to introduce their white tigers. An absolute must to bring a visit during your holiday. Especially for your children it will be a big adventure.

The romantic Sychrov manor house - The castle Sychrov is an old castle from the 19th century. It is kept in very good shape an offers beautiful things from history to see. The interior offer wonderful furniture and even more wonderful paintings. Famous composers like Dvorak liked to stay at Sychrov to compose some of their work. Also the park is very nice. It brings a special atmosphere while walking by the wonderful old threes this park offers.

Center Babylon - A family amusement center with an aqua park or swimming paradise for the whole family. It has a shopping center, children play grounds and many other attractions.
